Starch

Starch is a fundamental representative of natural carbohydrates, which is one of the main source of energy for human organism, and having thickener characteristics, stabilizer and amendment, which is need in industrial production. In many-compound mixtures a starch is able to influence effectively with matter such as fats, sugars and enzymes, to reinforce an act of products aromatizer, to control moisture. This element is contented in a big amounts (60-80%) in a grain crops – corn, rise, wheat and others. A potato contents up to 25% of starch against sort, growing conditions and others factors.

Economic meaning of Starch – Treacle Industry appraises quite different and permanently expanding of starch usage spectrum and products on its base. At the present day Starch Products is widely demanded in a different production industries – from the Confectionary Industry up to Oil Drilling. Since a new kinds of starch its usage fields consistently becomes wider, and the need increases in it stable increase.

A big group of products is produced from the starch of its partial conversion: maltodextrins, low-sugared, caramel, high-sugared, maltose, glucose and maltose and others kinds of treacle. Its ability to prevent sugar crystallization has conclusive sense for caramel production. High-sugared, glucose and glucose – fruit syrups are used in bread making, in production of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, and many others products. In the latest years Maltose Treacle is used by increased demand at beer manufacturers and food acids.

Under operating of starch under the structure, compound and characteristics its light volatility gives possible to produce hundreds of different kinds of modification starch, successfully using as in production food products, as in inedible fields.

Starch and its modifications are used widely in corrugated carton production, at production of confectionery and bakery, sausages, canned food and many others food products. Huge usage possibilities of modification starch in technical purpose: textile and paper industry, for stabilization of mud solutions at oil drilling and gas drilling, for production of molding sand foundry, wallpaper glue and in many others industries.
